Our house is fully furnished and includes bed linen and towels, 32" Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a barbecue area, and parking. We offer guests a lovely open-air terrace with seating—perfect for enjoying the region's beautiful sunsets!

Casa Souza features 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a laundry area, and parking space for two vehicles. It comfortably accommodates groups of up to 12 people.

Ribeirão da Ilha was one of the first communities in the state—and the first in Florianópolis—to be inhabited by the Carijó indigenous people in the 16th century. The name given to the beach originates from a small river or stream located there (*ribeiracô* in the indigenous language). According to historians, the first Portuguese and Spanish navigators arrived around 1506. Twenty years later, the navigator Sebastian Cabot crossed the Atlantic and came here; records suggest that Cabot anchored at the Port of Ribeirão. Effective colonization of the island took place between 1748 and 1756, with the arrival of approximately six thousand Azoreans. Some sources state that fifty couples settled in Ribeirão da Ilha. Located 36 kilometers from downtown Florianópolis, Ribeirão da Ilha comprises several small beaches featuring calm waters and coarse sand. It is considered one of the few places on Brazil's southern coast that has well-preserved traces of Portuguese colonization. A visit to the beach offers a journey back to Azorean customs and culture. Upon arrival, one immediately notices the defining characteristics of this culture, still preserved in their original and vivid forms. Most of the houses feature pink walls with yellow or white windows—or green with blue. The curtains also catch the eye... ...catching the eye—almost all of them made of lace. It is also common to see women leaning out of their windows, watching the activity outside or chatting with a neighbor passing by. Meanwhile, their husbands—mostly fishermen—haul in nets on the beach to bring fresh fish home. The Azorean-style houses, the Church of Nossa Senhora da Lapa do Ribeirão, and the Ribeirão da Ilha Ethnological Museum (which houses documents and artifacts telling the region's history) are some examples of typical Florianópolis landmarks located in Ribeirão da Ilha.

The house is located on the ground floor; the second floor features apartments that are also available for vacation rentals!
